Paint a box as part of The Stacked Box Mural Project
Nashville International Airport (BNA) invites the public to participate in The Stacked Box Mural Project, a public art project composed of individually painted, 18-inch cardboard boxes stacked at various heights and lengths to create a larger-than-life art installation. Hosted by the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority’s (MNAA) Arts at the Airport program, BNA’s section of the wall will consist of 26 boxes that have an airplane/airport/travel theme already drawn on them.
Envisioned by Nashville artist Myles McIntyre Maillie, The Stacked Box Mural Project will be the focal point at “Fall Fest at The Hermitage,” an art and music event on the grounds of The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson, Oct. 5-6, 2013.
