Artist Statement
"My art is a powerful expression of my Latin-American roots. The combination of my life experiences blended with my personal views of the world become the central point of reference for most of my work. Human beings are represented in each piece in relationship with earth to project my view on how individuals debate their lives between dreams and realities, combining the material and spiritual component of our lives. My work presents a collage of feelings within lines, curves, colors and movements in harmony with the beauty of souls, bodies, and mother earth. At the present time, bright colors have motivated me to express a body of feelings of happiness and sadness all intertwined in ideas on how the world is behaving today."
"In essence, my work of art is a manifestation of myself as a human being, with a world full of experiences and conditions attach to the conflicts of the past, the struggles of the present and the uncertainty of the future. It shows the beauty of the world emerging over battles that each one of us has to overcome while visiting the earth." |
