A native of Colombia, South America, Jairo Prado has lived and worked as an artist in Nashville for twenty-seven years, creating commissioned works and exhibiting nationally and internationally
His works have been recently featured in solo exhibitions at the Leu Gallery at Belmont University in 2010, as well as the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2008. Juried exhibitions include the Biennial Best of Tennessee Craft Artists at the Hunter Museum of American Art.

About This Exhibit
In celebration of the National Hispanic Heritage month, Arts at the Airport presents five Nashville artists of Hispanic descent: Orlando Garcia-Camacho, Rachel Hernandez Hensley, Jairo Prado, Liliana Velez and Mayra Yu-Morales.

Natural de Colombia, Suramérica, Jairo Prado ha vivido y trabajado como un artista en la cuidad de Nashville por viente-siete años, creando trabajos comisionados y exhibiéndo nacionalmente y internacionalmente. Recientes exhibitiones individuales incluyen la Galería del Leu en la Universidad de Belmont en 2010, así como la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Wilmington en 2008.
