Founded in 1991, SOURCE is a nonprofit organization supporting women executives and professionals that work in all facets of the Nashville music industry.


The SOURCE Awards are an annual celebration honoring the pioneering women who helped establish the foundation of the music industry. Arts at the Airport will showcase an exhibit featuring the current and past nominees of this award. Some women included in the exhibit are: Hattie Louise “Tootsie” Bess, Brenda Lee, Jo Walker-Meador, Hazel Smith and many more.

Arts at the Airport receives funding for the visual arts from the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) and the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC).
