THE OGLANDERS

A first for Arts at the Airport, this summer we will exhibit the work of four individuals who happen to be related. The Oglanders: Dad (Gary), Mom (Eva), and sons Daniel and Eric are all professional artists. They work together and apart, but find inspiration, critique, support and encouragement from those they know best.

Shown Right: Artists Daniel, Gary, Eva and Eric Oglander.

Artist Statement
“We've been called ‘unique.’ We're a family of artists that work and live together in our home/studio in the woods outside Nashville.

“We encourage one another to work and grow and are not envious or competitive. We give each other constructive advice and no one sulks from the criticism. It is very valuable to have other artists that you love trust and respect there to say, ‘Stop, that's awesome,’ or ‘That needs more work.’”

“We make art because it feeds our spirits and hopefully imparts the joy we feel as we create it.”
