  Artist's Statement
"Having been born in Tennessee, I have always felt a connection to the land regardless of how far I move away from it. The images in this exhibit date back to my earliest days with photography to my most recent visit to see my family. From the writings of William Faulkner to the photographs of Sally Mann, I have always been enamored with the sense of place the Southeast creates and I have spent the last few years photographing the urban renewal of my hometown Chattanooga, Tenn.”
