NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) announces the promotion of Emily Richard from director of Corporate Communications and Government Relations to assistant vice president, Strategic Communications and External Affairs.

In this role, Richard will report to the President and CEO and will be responsible for directing strategic communications, advertising and marketing strategies, and coordinating external relations activities for MNAA. “We are pleased that Emily will play a more pivotal role to ensure that our efforts are strategically aligned and well coordinated to achieve our goals and objectives,” said Rob Wigington, president and CEO of the MNAA. “Our people are our best asset, all contributing to creating a great Nashville Airports Experience for our passengers, business partners and employees. Emily’s been an asset to the MNAA in her current departmental director position and this new expanded management role, and the additional responsibilities, are an acknowledgment of her importance to the organization going forward.”
