NASHVILLE, Tenn. ─ The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) announces that Traci Cooper Holton, P.E., manager of Design, has been named to Airport Business magazine’'s "Top 40 under Forty" list. In its inaugural year, the recognition program honors the Aviation industry’s best and brightest under the age of 40 and each of the honorees is profiled in the publication's August/September 2012 issue. Holton was selected out of hundreds of nominees based on her experience related to the design and construction of Nashville International Airport’s new consolidated rental car facility, one of the largest single projects in the airport’s history.
"Traci’s design leadership on projects like the new consolidated rental car facility and roadway improvements at Nashville International Airport have been instrumental in our ability to provide travelers with the Nashville Airports Experience," said MNAA President and CEO Rob Wigington. “We thank her and congratulate her.”
Holton has been with the MNAA since October 2003. She has served as project manager on several projects, including the construction of the consolidated rental car facility, airfield pavement reconstruction projects, an expansion to the Airports Rescue and Fire Fighting Building, and the Terminal Access Roadway Improvements project.
Before joining the MNAA team, Holton worked as a transportation engineer for a local consulting firm where she designed and managed roadway projects throughout the state of Tennessee. She also has experience in bridge design, environmental permitting and site development. Holton is a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
