NASHVILLE, Tenn. ─ Nashville International Airport (BNA) announced today that its Short Term parking rate is being reduced 20 percent as part of its new, simplified parking-rate structure. The Short Term parking rate reduction makes it one of the lowest rates of its kind in the nation.
“As we attract more businesses and visitors to Nashville, we are focused on making our airport services as convenient and affordable as possible,” Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority President/CEO Rob Wigington said. “The new simplified parking-rate structure will make it more affordable for our customers to use covered parking in the lot closest to the terminal, Short Term, and offer a range of parking options.”
The rate structure, which will take effect Oct. 15, is designed to make parking easier than ever at BNA. Rates will be separated by $5 increments, starting with a $9 maximum daily rate in the Economy and Long Term B lots. Long Term A parking will cost a maximum of $14 per day; Short Term parking’s maximum daily cost will be $19; Valet parking will cost a maximum of $24 daily. (See table below.)
The Short Term lot recently expanded to include a second level of covered parking, its new rate is $5 less per day than the previous rate. Only a short walk to the terminal, Short Term provides convenience to parkers. The new, lower price is one of the lowest rates among the nation’s 50 busiest airports.
“We’re excited to enhance our parking service while keeping rates low,” Wigington said. “In the coming months, we will introduce more parking features to provide the best Nashville airport experience possible, whether you’re heading out or coming back.”
Frequent Parker Program members will continue to have access to a reserved section in Long Term A, receive points toward free parking, and enjoy Fast Lane entry and exit for all parking lots except Valet. Sign up at www.flynashville.com. Valet parkers will also continue to drop off at the
current terminal location and receive free bottled water and newspapers. Car washes, detailing and oil changes are also available.
The new rate structure reflects continued upgrades at BNA, the fourth fastest growing among the top 75 airports in North America last year. BNA has announced additional flights across the country this year to destinations ranging from New York to Los Angeles.
All BNA lots will continue to provide free parking for the first 20 minutes, allowing many passengers to be dropped off or picked up at no charge. Frequent shuttle bus service is provided in all lots, excluding Valet, from 3:30 a.m. daily to 45 minutes after the last flight arrives.
