Nashville International Airport Planning for the Future, Invites Public to Workshop on March 5

NASHVILLE ─ On Tuesday, March 5, the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) will host the last of three informational meeting and public workshop to discuss the process and goals identified for the ongoing development of the Nashville International Airport Master Plan Update and Sustainability Study.

The purpose of this workshop is to give the public an opportunity to be actively involved in and learn about the plans, schedules and efforts of the Master Plan Update and Sustainability Study. The project goals of the Master Plan Update are to focus on identifying the future needs associated with Nashville International Airport, based on passenger forecasts, to ensure that sufficient capacity and facilities exist to effectively support aviation activity well into the future. The Sustainability Study aims to identify goals, evaluate initiatives, and develop an implementation plan for MNAA to enhance its economic vitality, operational and energy efficiency, social responsibility and protect natural resources.
