Planning Is Critical Component to Sustainability of the MNAA

Frequent Parker Program - Earn Points Each Time You Park
Nashville International Airport (BNA) has a program designed with frequent parkers in mind. BNA’s frequent parker program allows travelers to earn free parking, enjoy easier access in and out of gated parking lots, and make payments online. The program excludes valet parking.

New Checked Baggage Screening System
In addition to the ongoing terminal renovation program, other interior work includes construction of a new checked baggage screening system. This activity is generally not be visible to the public. Read more.

MNAA Director Honored at Airport Business Diversity Conference
Amber Gooding, director of Business Diversity Development for the MNAA, has received the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) Award of the Organization. The award was presented to Gooding at AMAC’s Airport Business Diversity Conference in New Orleans on June 22. Read more.

Arts at the Airport Logo ARTS AT THE AIRPORT: SUMMER FLYING SOLO SERIES OPENED JUNE 13 The summer installment of the art showcase at Nashville International Airport (BNA) opened June 13 and will run through Sept. 6. Each season, the Flying Solo series offers talented local artists an opportunity to exhibit their work at BNA.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) recently promoted Rebecca Ramsey, formerly manager of Properties, to the position of assistant director of Properties.

Nashville Airport Authority Creates Executive Vice President and COO Role
MNAA recently created the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer (EVP and COO). Monty Burgess, who was formerly senior vice president and COO, assumed this role July 1.
