The 1993 Noise Contour was the first Noise Exposure Map (NEM) published by MNAA under 14 CFR Part 150. This map was the basis for the airport's extensive Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) which addressed single-family residential property. Today this map is used as a guide to illustrate the primary turbojet departure flight corridors. This map reflects 1993 noise impacts of aircraft operations as they were forecast to occur in 1988.
