BNA® Flying Aces Volunteers

In today’s fast-paced world, dedicated volunteers are as rare as a smooth landing in strong crosswinds. But at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®), more than 100 incredible Flying Aces generously lend their time, expertise, and airport knowledge to ensure passengers have a world-class experience.

Since 2000, these aviation ambassadors have been a steady presence, ensuring passengers navigate BNA with ease—whether they’re taxiing to security, making a connection, or arriving at baggage claim.

Spotting a Flying Ace is as easy as spotting a beacon on the runway. Dressed in their signature royal blue jackets, vests, and shirts and armed with their information notebooks, they’re stationed throughout the airport, ready to steer guests in the right direction.

Ready to Take Flight as a BNA® Flying Ace?

Join the ranks of our BNA® Flying Aces, a dedicated team helping travelers soar through their airport experience with ease.

As a Flying Ace, you’ll:

  • Assist passengers daily, ensuring their journey is smooth.

BNA® and Donelson Middle School: Community Partners

Just as aviation connects people and places, BNA is proud to soar alongside Donelson Middle School through PENCIL, a nonprofit dedicated to building strategic partnerships that support Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS).

Through PENCIL, BNA pilots programs and activities that uplift students, ensuring they have opportunities to thrive. Recognizing that education fuels future success, BNA is committed to integrating the arts into the curriculum—helping students take flight in creativity, music, and expression.

Much like a well-charted flight path, the PENCIL Partner program aligns public schools with strong community allies, emphasizing human talent and resources over monetary contributions to create lasting impact.
