About Bonnaroo or Bust!
Beep! Beep! “Bonnaroo or Bust” pays homage to the troves of music lovers who hit the road (or the skies) every summer on their way to Bonnaroo. The construction of the sculpture resembles dome-tent architecture using rip-stop nylon and tubing. It reflects the festival-goer’s sleeping quarters in Bonnaroo’s renowned Tent City. Both the minibus’s bright colors and playful upside-down flip point to the fun-filled nature of the music festival and the memories made on the road-trip there. It is my hope that passers-by imagine themselves riding inside the flying bus and how fun it would be. So, sing your favorite tune and enjoy the ride to your final destination!
