Radiating Positivity by Gabriela NoelleMarch 11, 2019 – Jan. 19, 2020 Concourse C, near Gate 9 Gabriela Noelle
is a multi-dimensional installation artist from Miami, Fla. Noelle’s work celebrates the provocative relationship between adolescence and adulthood, Earth and Man, and the natural and the synthetic. She compares her medium, Lucite, to a blank slate, similar to air and water, with the ability to turn intangible transparency into a tactile substance, casting shadows and reflections that transcend its physical presence and allude to an ethereal dimension of possibility and potential. About
Graduating with a degree in business administration from Parsons School of Design, Noelle applies a calculated and strategic attitude toward her geometric and mathematical work. However, with this three-dimensional sculpture, she was eager to experiment with a more random and liberated approach. She views the sculpture as a dynamic photograph, capturing a moment of distinct dancing figures with unique paths and journeys, coming together to create one, artistic composition of positive energy. Intentionally simple and minimalistic, “Radiating Positivity” is less about the physical material, and more about the moving, colorful reflections that extend past the given space, just as Bonnaroo is more than a music festival. Bonnaroo is a bond that leaves a lasting, positive and radiant impression.
