Adults age 50 and over in Middle Tennessee live longer, more fulfilling lives through the innovative programs and services of FiftyForward. Since its founding in 1956, FiftyForward has built on the vision and the need to provide comprehensive programming for older adults. More than 20,000 adults, children and families benefit from their services annually.

FiftyForward centers are among the elite 1 percent in the nation accredited by the National Institute for Senior Centers (NISC). With seven FiftyForward locations, five in Davidson County and two in Williamson County, members participate in classes, programs including travel, and activities that foster personal growth, health, wellness and social interaction. With more than 100 instructional classes ranging from arts and computer, creative writing and performing arts, as well as language and exercise – including Tai Chi, yoga and Zumba – FiftyForward centers offer something for everyone.

This Flying Solo art exhibit brings together a cross-section of artwork from FiftyForward center members, program participants, art instructors and staff. FiftyForward offers individuals opportunities to have fun, learn new things and enjoy life.  www.fiftyforward.org
