Lisa Haddad

March 6 - May 28, 2017
Concourse C, Across from Gates 10 and 13

Lisa Haddad is a painter, photographer, collaborative artist and founding member of the Nashville Collage Collective. She’s been captivated by photography ever since her father handed her his Nikon F camera on her way to college. At the University of California, Santa Monica, she learned to process and print, spending as much time in the photo lab as the Marine Biology lab of her major. Haddad’s photos dwell on night-time imagery. Shadows, color shifts and dislocated reflections contribute to her unique and recognizable compositions. Haddad lives in Nashville, Tenn. Her prints are sold locally at East Side Story and Pangaea as well as the Nashville Nightscapes website. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these photos is donated to Room In the Inn, an interfaith organization providing
hope to those who call the streets of Nashville home.
About Nashville Nightscapes – Venues
Haddad states, “My first nightscapes were captured one rainy night 10 years ago on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, and I’ve been hooked on low-light, urban scenes ever since. I use a minimum of Photoshop technique, because it’s more fun to hunt for compositions on the streets than to superimpose images on a computer screen. From country music shrine, The Ryman, to hipster cave, The 5-Spot, this Venue series began as a labor of love and celebrates the diverse performance niches found in our Music City.”
