About The Thread Connects
Kovarik states, “I make art with thread and fabric. Stitching is an extension of my thoughts through my hands. It is a slow art, textural and multi-layered. I am sensitive to surprises, allowing the stitched drawings to tell me more than I think I know. I maintain an online journal that charts my path and focuses on the challenges and processes I learn doing this work. Surrounded by inspirations, I am awed by the mystery and eager to create. I multitask, dream in code, read with urgency and play with intent. Most days, I am breathless.” www.paulakovarik.com
