Beginning Sept. 23, the exit from Terminal Garage 1 (TG1) will close, while the entrance will remain open. Drivers will continue entering TG1 through the existing plaza but will exit through Terminal Garage 2 (TG2), which connects to TG1 on Levels 2–6. This activity supports construction for the new, larger rental car facility and parking garage under New Horizon, our $3 billion growth and expansion program. 

Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), the trade association representing commercial service airports in the United States and Canada, named Doug Kreulen as the recipient of the 2026 Excellence in Visionary Leadership Award.

Today, the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority voted unanimously, 6-0, to begin the process of modifying the airport’s name in honor of Dolly Parton.

While a final name has not yet been determined, we are working closely with the appropriate parties to thoughtfully determine how Dolly Parton’s name and legacy will be incorporated.

Volaris is launching three new routes connecting Guadalajara with some of the most attractive and dynamic destinations in the United States: Boston, Raleigh-Durham and Nashville, with operations beginning Oct. 15.
