The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) today announced a landmark 2026 fiscal year (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026), highlighted by remarkable growth, groundbreaking partnerships and national recognition for both Nashville International Airport®, also known as BNA®, and John C. Tune Airport®, also known as JWN®.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) today commemorated the 40th anniversary of John C. Tune Airport®, also known as JWN®, marking four decades of service, growth and economic impact since its opening on July 20, 1986. The milestone highlighted JWN’s evolution from a dedicated general aviation facility into a modern, resilient asset that plays a vital role in supporting Middle Tennessee’s business and aviation needs.

With the first day of school around the corner, the time is approaching to start planning Spring Break 2027 trips and Southwest Airlines® is ready to take Customers to beaches, mountains, and everywhere in between. The carrier’s flight schedule is now available for booking through early April 2027 with record-high departures in Austin and Orlando, along with growth in Nashville and Las Vegas.

Sometimes, the sound of growth gets a little noisy – but we’re going to do our best to mitigate the volume. Starting the week of July 13, there will be increased noise in the Central Core of the terminal as structural demolition begins.
